The Chosen Adventures: A Show For All Ages

The Chosen Universe Expands to Animation

Following the global success of The Chosen, director Dallas Jenkins is venturing into animation with a new series designed for the entire family. The Chosen Adventures is now available to stream on Prime Video.

The show follows Abby, a spirited nine-year-old, and her best friend, Joshua, as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum. Their adventures lead them to a wise craftsman and teacher—Jesus of Nazareth—who helps them change their perspective on the world. Jenkins explained that creating an animated series was a deliberate move to engage the younger generation, but he emphasized that the show is crafted to be enjoyed by viewers of all ages, making it a perfect shared experience for families.

The director also shared his hopes for the series’ outcome, aiming for it to be more than just entertainment. The Chosen Adventures seeks to provide a fresh, accessible perspective on the timeless stories of Jesus, helping a new generation connect with its message of hope and transformation.

Hollie Taylor, host of Good Company chatted with Dallas Jenkins about his new animated series, the process of creating it and more. Watch the interview here.
