Brace Yourself It’s Getting Cold!

Automotive issue?

We are in the middle of the winter season. This is the time of year when you start to brace yourself because it will only get colder. The air is frigid, the condensation on your breath thickens, and the regret of stepping out of your house starts to seep in. Although this isn’t a favourite season for everyone, everyone must take precautions when entering the Canadian metropolis tundra: Jackets, gloves, scarves, boots, and layers of clothing. One important thing many people might be taking for granted or forgetting is properly equipping your vehicle for inclement weather. What precautions have you taken towards your car to make it safe for you and others for the cold times ahead?

We can help! We have teamed up with Nile ‘Motormouth’ Jenkins, our resident automotive mechanic with over three decades of automotive know-how; he will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to help keep you out of distress. Nile delivers automotive tech tips every Friday at 7:50 AM and 5:40 PM. The theme for the next few weeks will be winter tech tips for maneuvering your vehicle during the colder season.

Don’t miss these valuable tips; listen to JOY Radio at 1250 AM on the dial or anytime on-demand when you download the ‘MyJoyRadio’ App – available through the app store or Google Play.
