Toronto Subway Riders Still Waiting for Reliable Wireless

The battle over providing cellular service for riders of the Toronto subway system continues.

Rogers wants to be able to add service for its own customers without having to wait for a dispute with Bell and Telus to end.

The two companies have asked Ottawa to make Rogers wait until it is “technically feasible” for everyone to be able to use the network, a tactic Rogers says is self-serving manoeuvring by Bell and Telus.

The Industry Minister launched a process last month to help speed up negotiations.
