World Watch List 2025

Pray For The Persecuted

Did you know that Christians in certain parts of the world are persecuted for their faith? You would think by now that people would be free to worship boldly without being in harm’s way.

That is not always the case. Open Doors Canada has compiled the World Watch List for over 30 years, identifying the 50 countries where faith costs the most. Churches in these regions are increasingly going underground, which makes it even more vital for this list to be made so that Christians in other regions can pray for their brothers and sisters who are suffering.

Hollie Taylor, host of ‘Good Company,’ caught up with Andrew Croft from Open Doors Canada to discuss their annual World Watch List; he explains the methodology behind the list, the changes observed in the persecuted church landscape and the role of the Canadian church in supporting persecuted Christians globally.
