Allegations India’s Government Involved in Death of BC Man

The Trudeau government says Canadian intelligence services are investigating the potential link between the murder of a British Columbia Sikh leader and the government of India.

Citing ”credible evidence,” Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the announcement in the House of Commons Monday afternoon.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent leader in the Sikh community, was murdered in Surrey in June.

Ottawa has ordered a senior Indian diplomat out of the country. India countered overnight, sending a Canadian diplomat home.
