Musicians, actors, athletes and more make up this year’s inductees to Canada’s Walk of Fame.

Five Canadians will be receiving stars on the Walk of Fame in downtown Toronto, with a special event to celebrate its 25th anniversary on December 2.

Among the newly announced inductees: Singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, Cree/Metis actress Tantoo Cardinal, philanthropist and broadcaster Gary Slaight, and Roots clothing brand founders Michael Budman and Don Green.
