Federal Workers Set to Walk

The Public Service Alliance of Canada has set a deadline of 9pm on Tuesday to have a new contract for its members. If not, they’re ready to walk of the job on Wednesday.

At a news conference this morning, PSAC said its 155-thousand members are fed up, without a contract for two years now.

The biggest sticking point is more money.

If the workers do go off the job on Wednesday, it will be the largest strike against a single employer in Canadian history.
