Members of the House of Commons are taking a break from Ottawa.

All parties agreed to the motion to end the sitting last night, despite opposition parties wanting a public inquiry into foreign interference called before the break.

It is still likely that one will be called, but there is no time frame on a decision.

Members of Parliament will return to the capital on September 18th.
