Metro and Striking GTA Workers Reach Tentative Agreement

A tentative deal has been reached between Metro and striking workers at 27 grocery stores in the Greater Toronto Area.

The strike began on July 29th after an earlier agreement was voted down.

The company says a vote is expected to take place shortly.

Bargaining picked back up this week after Metro was granted a temporary injunction preventing picket lines at two distribution centres.
