Ontarians Ready to go to The EX!

The end of summer is closer than you might think, and a sure sign is the return of the Canadian National Exhibition to Exhibition Place in Toronto.

This year, the CNE will feature an all-new Superwheel, ‘’the first and largest observation ride of its kind to grace the Toronto skyline,’’ according to a release.

Organizers say the 150-ft tall wheel features 36 enclosed observation pods that deliver spectacular 360 views of the city day or night.

Another new attraction is the Cirque-tacular Spectacular outdoor acrobatic and trampoline show outside of the Enercare Centre.

And, of course, there’s the food.

Inspired by the popularity of Barbie, and in celebration of this year’s Pink Floyd Exhibition co-presented by the CNE, there is lots of pink on the menu.

From Malibu Mac and Cheese to Nachos with Pink Queso Sauce, and even a Watermelon Burger.

And from the makers of last year’s popular Ketchup & Mustard Ice Cream, come two new savoury flavours: Street Corn Ice Cream, and Cheeseburger-Flavoured Ice Cream served on a cheddar dipped cone.
