Toronto Set to Elect New Mayor

The polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today as Toronto residents elect a mayor for the second time since October.

John Tory abruptly stepped down in February, prompting the by-election with a field of 102 registered candidates.

Unlike during advance voting, residents do need to vote in the ward in which they reside.

Residents should ensure they bring ID and a document with their Toronto address.
