Ontario school children will soon begin, again, to learn cursive.

Education Minister Stephen Lecce says cursive will be back as a mandatory part of the curriculum beginning this fall as an expectation starting for Grade 3 students.

Lecce says research shows that cursive writing is a critical life skill in helping young people to express themselves and to think more critically about the words they are using.
