Hamiltonians are going to the polls in a provincial by-election on March 16th.

The by-election was called in Hamilton Centre, to fill a legislative seat left vacant when Andrea Horwath stepped down to run successfully as mayor.

Premier Doug Ford announced the by-election yesterday.

The NDP, Liberals and Conservatives all have candidates ready to go.

Eligible votes are being encouraged to ensure their name is on the voters list, with details on when and where constituents will vote coming later this month.
